Bierstadt's "Bombardment of Fort Sumter" is no longer considered a Bierstadt, but a work by the Confederate painter, John Ross Key.
You mistakenly attribute "The Bombardment of Fort Sumter" to Albert Bierstadt. The painting was done by John Ross Key. See The Magazine Antiques, February 1986, pp,416-422. It is now in the Greenville County Museum, Greenville, SC as by Key.

Fix the search button.
It is loading only the first page.
Let's use the word SUMMER, for example.
Search finds 551 paintings, but only loads the first page. When you click on the load more button nothing happen.
If not in search, as in, for instance, a genre, or just one artist, the LOAD MORE button does work.

Fix or have a notification

Eliminate annoying css animation
The CSS animation at the bottom of each page,
consisting of something resembling four squares,
is highly annoying. It is located right before the "footer"
and I believe it is included under the title
"standalone-loader-cube-wrapper".It is not straightforward to prevent a browser
from displaying it. Although using firefox
this might be achieved by adding the following
line to userContent.css:div.standalone-loader-cube-wrapper{display: none; visibility: hidden;}
However I would not know how to eliminate it
using other browsers. It would be simpler that
you consider eliminating at the source.I have little doubt that many users, like myself,
shall be grateful if…3 votes -

Support for HiDPI screens
If the work is available at a high resolution (3840 px +), it would be great to view the artwork at HiDPI or "Retina" resolutions.
This can be achieved using the srcset attribute of css (https://webkit.org/demos/srcset/)

I would love to see Norman Lewis
Norman Lewis' artwork is breathtaking. It would be great if you could add it to your collection. Thank you.

Random artwork in my main page
I use to have, well, I still have it, WikiArt as my main page, in this way everytime that I run my browser I had a new random artwork in my screen. Now after the change it is not possible... what a pity... :(
I liked to have classical art, every day a new one...
Can you put this option again? Thank you so much, anyway you all created a great web!!! :)
