  4. Add RALPH STEADMAN to the artist database

Ralph Steadman is probably best known for his work with author and journalist Hunter S Thompson but his artwork is amazing and he really needs to be recognized for the great artist that he is.

  5. To see a specific work in a painters chronology I have to stroll and stroll

I love the feature that offers a painter's works chronologically but if I want to return to a specific painting I have to stroll and stroll and stroll to find it. The old website version had page numbers where I could find a specific work. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, etc. It makes it so much easier. I wish this option were added to the current design.

  6. Include Francis Bacon

Why is Francis Bacon's work absent from your site and app? It's conspicuous by it's absence.

  7. Error in label information for Albrecht Durer's THE HARROWING OF HELL.

This artwork is not a painting nor is it made with oil paint. It is a print - probably and engraving - made with ink on paper.
Poor information becomes a major grading issue for my students.

  8. As an artist and an art-lover I really appreciate this encyclopedy, the quality of the images and the multiple search options I haven't fou

As an artist and an art-lover I really appreciate this encyclopedy, the quality of the images and the multiple search options

I haven't found Hungarian painters in your database.
    I suggest:
Philip De Laszlo (very famous painter)
    Adolf Hirèmy-Hirsch symbolism
Victor Vasarely (founder of the pop-art)
    Mihaly Zichy realism
    Gyula Benczur realism
Mihaly Munkacsy (realism - see for example the passion triology)
    CSONTVÁRY KOSZTKA, Tivadar (surrealism)
    Vilmos Aba-Novák
    Pal Szinyei Merse impressionism

    and so many more

  11. have a text only list of all artists, as I want to browse by artist. Pix of artist only consume screen space 4 me

The current artist list has artist pictures and takes a lot of space per artist. I would like a big, text only list of all artists with images so I could see the whole list and somewhat randomly act on "I've heard of him/her, what do his paintings look like?" The current list where you only see only a few of the available artists on the screen at once is not as effective for this interactions. Thanks for a wonderful site.

  15. Add comment section to artworks

I'm not an artist, and kind of new to WikiArt, but it's a fantastic resource to find works by various painters. I usually only use the website to try to learn more about art, but most artwork only has basic information on the page. It might be cool for there to be a comment section where people could give opinions, additional information, etc. I'm not sure how well this would actually work, but it's just a thought.

  16. Käthe Kollwitz major cycles big mistake

The pictures listed for the major cycle of works, The Weavers / Weberaufstand, are not all from this cycle. Two are from the major cycle entitled The Peasant War / Bauernkrieg. Such a mistake, as well as the incomplete representation of a cycle by Kollwitz can be very misleading for students and those interested in following the story of the cycle at hand. A cycle can only be analyzed and interpreted when viewed in its entirety. Please delete this false categorization and organize the cycles.

  18. František Kupka and "Czech Republic"

František Kupka lived in time when some state with the name "Czech Republic" did not exist. I would like to inform you, that our country has geographical name, which can be used for any period in history. Call our country Czechia, please. Our country has more than 1200 years old history and only very small part of it is the history of republican system. Leave that cold and clumsy formal name Czech Republic for politics. Czechia is a geographical name, which is independent on time and state-political changes in the country, thus, it can be used for our country both…

It's nice to have lots of 'minor' european artists in display, but famous Latin American artists missing makes a bit embarassing for you... works by Aleijadinho are a must
