  2. aldolf hiler the painter

    I personally detested politics and means of mr. hitler. There was a recent movie about aldolf hitler. My 12 year old loves to paint. She found out mr. hitler to be a rather good painter. I find it interesting his works are not in your encyclopedia. thank you

  4. Genre Zuordnugn überprüfen

    Ich würde mal vorschlagen die Genre Zuordnung zu generell zu überprüfen: Nehmen Sie nur mal 'Gemälde von Wildtieren' es erscheinen nur alte ehrwürdige Männer (Künstler).
    Gott sei Dank schon tot, sonst würden Sie sich vermutlich wehren als Wildtiere bezeichnet zu werden.

  7. Stop the pop up

    When I accidentally click 0n the 3 dots below the painting it takes me to a site that sells prints. Annoying because I lose my place in browsing and have to start all over

  12. Include more Indain contemproray artists in the collection. For example, Rumale Channabasavaiah's work.

    I an admirer of your work and often visit the website just to discover new artists or a piece of art work. I am also from India and I have felt that there are many contemporary Indian artists that are not represented here. For example, works of Rumale Channabasavaiah from Karnataka, Bangalore.

  14. Link to wikipedia painter's page in iPad/iPhone app. Also link to wikipedia pages for famous paintings

    Right, only web app has links to painter's wikipedia page. But most time I use iPad, which has very few info about the painter - most time don't even know which country or nation the painter from. Please provide links to painter's wikipedia page, as well as links to famous painting's wikipedia page. Thanks!

  16. bei Nationalität wird gelegentlich "Jüdisch" aufgeführt

    warum führen Sie keine Kategorie "Religion" ein, wo dann katholisch, protestantisch, schiitisch, sunnitisch, buddhistisch, ... eingetragen werden kann? Oder wollen Sie mit "Jüdisch" im Feld Nationalität die Künstl. diskrimienieren?

  18. research your photograph of José Guadalupe Posada attached to that article. I am quite certain this is a photograph of José Clemente Orozco

    My students are using this image as his, but a close comparison of photos makes this unlikely and I think it is misleading. What is your source attribution for this photo? Posada died in 1913 when camera technology was still limited. The sharper image of Orozco looks more like photos from the 1930's, the hair style and nose match Orozco. Images of Posada consistently have him with a longer handlebar mustache and more prominent cheekbones and never glasses. I do not believe any photos of Posada exist. This needs to be fixed.
