  1. Random artwork in my main page

    I use to have, well, I still have it, WikiArt as my main page, in this way everytime that I run my browser I had a new random artwork in my screen. Now after the change it is not possible... what a pity... :(

    I liked to have classical art, every day a new one...

    Can you put this option again? Thank you so much, anyway you all created a great web!!! :)

  2. WRONG IMAGE OF VELZQUEZ "THE FABLE OF ARACHNE"

    The picture of Velazquez painting The Fable of Arachne, or The Spinners (1656) is the mirror image of the original. Should be possible to fix the problem?

  3. Please, include the location of the work of art

    We have to know where is the painting and also if it is in a private collection and so on. Thanks

  4. ENH: templates: schema.org/CreativeWork RDFa, OpenGraph RDFa, Twitter Cards

    Advantages to adding schema.org, OpenGraph, and Twitter Cards RDFa to the WikiArt page templates:

    • search: search engines will index the artwork metadata
    • sharing: when sharing a link (to e.g. Facebook, Twitter), social media services will display the image, name, year, etc.

    There is a mistake in the name "Chaim Jacob Lipschitz", in color gray. It must be "Chaïm Jacob Lipchitz"

  6. To see a specific work in a painters chronology I have to stroll and stroll

    I love the feature that offers a painter's works chronologically but if I want to return to a specific painting I have to stroll and stroll and stroll to find it. The old website version had page numbers where I could find a specific work. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, etc. It makes it so much easier. I wish this option were added to the current design.

  13. Please remove unlimited scrolling

    Hello. I like the new design but I think unlimited scrolling is a bad choice for this site. It was very easy to find the painting I'm looking for when there were pages but it's very difficult with the new unlimited scrolling. For example; I want to see mid to late works of Dürer. I go to the artist's page and list artworks by date. When there were pages, I could quickly skip to 6th or 7th page to find later works but now, I have to scroll and scroll and scroll each time I want to find later works…

  14. have a text only list of all artists, as I want to browse by artist. Pix of artist only consume screen space 4 me

    The current artist list has artist pictures and takes a lot of space per artist. I would like a big, text only list of all artists with images so I could see the whole list and somewhat randomly act on "I've heard of him/her, what do his paintings look like?" The current list where you only see only a few of the available artists on the screen at once is not as effective for this interactions. Thanks for a wonderful site.
