Change WikiArt back the way it was.
The way you have changed it makes it horrible to go thru the artwork because everything is all over the page. Before it was perfectly easy to look thru the artwork. Change it back!!!

the new format for the daily selection condenses the images into only half the available screen width so they are much smaller than previously. surely this is about the art and the image sizes should be maxed, not minimised. please go back to the old full page width format

Yes load more is nasty and takes an age. Before if you clicked on an image it would go to the black background and a sort of slider at the bottom you could move quickly through to the era of the artist work. Vincent van goph has more than 1900 images so extremely annoying to do the load more method.
The load more method is ghastly and if you must have at least ask how many images at once. -

the "load more" button is an horrible time-waster. Why on earth change something that works well? You are just so too trend-minded, that new "load-more" feature is infesting the net everywhere, but is it really to any users' satisfaction? Just go back to the old version, it was perfect. Site is lovely otherwise.

@ WikiArt Team:
A way to view the artwork via discreet pages like it used to be would be lovely. If it is possible to implement that sort of viewing mode as an viewing option alongside the current version, of course.

what would you suggest instead of "load more" button?

Agreed. At the very least, replace the infuriating "load more" button with proper pagination, please.

I have to agree that I'm not a fan of the new layout. It's a more difficult to parse the artist's works when the rows and columns get mixed up because of the varying dimensions. Is it possible to implement a "classic mode" or something along those lines for those who prefer the old method of browsing?
Thanks for the great resource, regardless.
