    http://www.the-athenaeum.org/ WikiArt needs to improve and this web has more artists, more paintings and more data, there you can find paintings by date, galleries, museums, etc., please take note.

  7. Can I Use Images in an Educational App??

    I want to use many images in this website for an app that will analyze them to see if they fit a certain art movement, it will be public for any one to use? am I free of trouble if I give all of the artist credit?

  8. add an ability to change the slideshow speed

    The artworks change before you can even look at the whole work! Artist and Title info adjacent to the image in fullscreen mode would be great too.

  18. There Are Many Paintings Missing+Copyright issues

    I see that a lot of paintings are missing, and that would be a huge flaw for an 'Art' Wiki!

    I understand that it's not easy to include all paintings to the database.

    So I suggest there be a corner where people can upload an image along with its provenance, etc.

    That way I think WikiArt can reduce time used in enlarging its database, get more participation and feedback as well.

    For example, for painter Rosa Bonheur,
    I see that <Le Labourage (1844)> is missing.

    In that situation I would like to upload my file and some information so that…

  19. remember where you were in a long list of (300+) artworks, or give customization to how many artworks per page shown

    every time you go back to a page of long artworks (1000+), you have to click the expand button every 60 artworks to get to the bottom and find the one you need. It is especially irritating when you have to click in on an artwork to see the details, only to come back and see all your scrolling process gone to waste.
