  2. To add Armenian language

    Armenia is a very rich cultural country with many artists and beatifull artworks, and we would like to upload many artist&artwork information (namely in cooperation with official museums) into WikiArt. however we did not found the Armenian language in the language list.
    Can we kindly ask you to add Armenian Հայերեն language into available language lists, to translate the artist/artwork information into our language,

  4. Artist's name is cut off on mobile web if the name is too long

  5. Update your iOS app since it will become obsolete with the next generation of iOS

    Apple will be phasing out 32bit apps in a bit and since the WikiArt app has been neglected, we won't be able to use it in the next gen of iOS, which will indeed be very disappointing since I absolutely love art and history

  9. "Vaga copyright"

    What is this? An artist's entire collection is subject to copyright law if the artist hasn't been dead for 70 years? Is this true??? It doesn't seem to make sense that one 150 year old painting is fair use but another is not because of the date when the artist died! Can we have some clarification on this?

  17. I wish I could find "John Maler Collier" here!

    John Maler Collier is one amazing English artist with some remarkable artworks like Lady Godiva, Lilith, Tannhäuser in the Venusberg. He painted in the Pre-Raphaelite style, and was one of the most prominent portrait painters of his generation.

  18. Add the option to organize artwork by date

    Like how you have artworks by style and by genre, there needs to be an option of viewing them by date, such as from the 1400's, 1500's, 1600's, etc.

  20. Add an "Unknown" category for Artists

    I notice that there is a remarkable lack of art from before the Renaissance, largely due to the apparent requirement that a work of art must be attached to a particular artist. Since it was rare for artists to be credited for their work until the Renaissance (ancient Rome and Greece notwithstanding,) this leaves out a large swathe of historically significant works from WikiArt. This is despite the goal of the website "to cover the entire art history of the Earth – from cave artworks to modern private collections."
