Copyright infringement popup
The popup currently says "Artworks...contemplation. Images of that type of artworks are prohibited for copying...and communicating to public since...infringement." Obviously it's not an infringement if you get permission; what if you changed "Images..." to "Unless the copyright owner has specifically granted you permission, images..."? Also, "communicating to public" in the same popup needs "the" before "public", i.e. "communicating to the public".

What about David Hockney?
Is there a cut off date for artists? Is Hockney too contemporary?

Include translations of Hakuin's poems with his illustrated work
Hakuin's 'The Monkey Is Reaching For The Moon' should include the reflected image of the moon in the water - otherwise the image is meaningless. The poem reads:
The monkey is reaching
For the moon in the water.
Until death overtakes him
He’ll never give up.
If he’d let go the branch and
Disappear in the deep pool,
The whole world would shine
With dazzling purenessHakuin

Browse by style
From an art discovery perspective, it would be nice to have the possibility to browse artists by style (and adding links to wikipedia information about these styles would be a plus !).
Great app by the way !

Add Saturnino Herrán.
He was a great Mexican artist, contemporary of Diego Rivera and the whole muralist school of the post-Revolution era. He has been the best painter in Mexico next to José María Velasco. The reason he is not as well known is that he died when he was 31 and didn't get an opportunity to get as much exposure as he deserved. Great job on the website and thank you for your efforts, I'm an art student at LCAD and your website has been an invaluable resource for my learning process! Thanks!!
