More Social Media Presence
Post more across instagram, twitter, and facebook. Have a curated artist/artwork of the day, with appropriate hashtags to gain more traction to the site.
It's something I could do officially or unofficially, if the administration here would permit me; post a daily piece of art or artwork, and like it back to WikiArt.

Ability to 'star' or 'favourite' artists.
I'd like to be able to keep track of my favourite artists I find while browsing (not just artworks.) I think it'd be convenient for each artists' page to contain a toggle star image button to favourite them. Then, under the account navigation (containing My Albums) have a 'Favourite Artist' section that leads to a gallery of the head-shots of all your favourite artists.

Ability to report if same painting has been added multiple times
I've seen that some paintings have been added multiple times, but I haven't noticed that there is a way to report this. In my opinion, this feature would be useful, and make artists' pages look better.

Allow jumping ahead by 100, 500, or even 1000 images.
Some artists or categories have 100's or even 1000's of images. Yet, you only allow the user to move ahead 20 images at a time. For instance, your "Surrealism" category contains 6000+ images. If I can only progress by 20 images at a time, I will NEVER reach the end. Please allow the user to take bigger "jumps" in such cases. Thanks !!

You should add great Russian artist from age of revolution Филонов, Павел Николаевич
Филонов, Павел Николаевич was a genius. He created his school of painting Analytical Art in 20th in Revolution Russia. As i know his works concentrated in Russia.There is no any outside.He died of starvation in 1942 in besieged by Germans Leningrad. A person of great talent with tragic fate.

iOS app update under development(not a suggestion I admit)

How come there isnt any of his paintings, i know he painted like thousands but you should add his best pieces, don't you take him seriously as an asrtist? the man who inspired half of the other dudes around your site?

Descriptions of Styles
Whenever I browse artworks by style, I'd like to see a short description of the style I'm looking at. A small entry explaining what distinguishes the style and the history of it would help me to learn more about art. I'd know what makes the style distinct. The more I'm able to learn about art, the more I'd appreciate this website.

Learn the correct terms for US copyright law. Life of author + 70 years only applies post 1978.
Life plus 70 years only applies to unpublished work under specific circumstances and to newly published work after 1978. You have ignored entirely any consideration of the Copyright Law of 1909, which covers most of the paintings you claim are "public domain." This destroys your site's credibility.

Update your iOS app since it will become obsolete with the next generation of iOS
Apple will be phasing out 32bit apps in a bit and since the WikiArt app has been neglected, we won't be able to use it in the next gen of iOS, which will indeed be very disappointing since I absolutely love art and history
