  1. Add comment section to artworks

I'm not an artist, and kind of new to WikiArt, but it's a fantastic resource to find works by various painters. I usually only use the website to try to learn more about art, but most artwork only has basic information on the page. It might be cool for there to be a comment section where people could give opinions, additional information, etc. I'm not sure how well this would actually work, but it's just a thought.

  2. Error in label information for Albrecht Durer's THE HARROWING OF HELL.

This artwork is not a painting nor is it made with oil paint. It is a print - probably and engraving - made with ink on paper.
Poor information becomes a major grading issue for my students.

  3. Käthe Kollwitz major cycles big mistake

The pictures listed for the major cycle of works, The Weavers / Weberaufstand, are not all from this cycle. Two are from the major cycle entitled The Peasant War / Bauernkrieg. Such a mistake, as well as the incomplete representation of a cycle by Kollwitz can be very misleading for students and those interested in following the story of the cycle at hand. A cycle can only be analyzed and interpreted when viewed in its entirety. Please delete this false categorization and organize the cycles.

  8. To see a specific work in a painters chronology I have to stroll and stroll

I love the feature that offers a painter's works chronologically but if I want to return to a specific painting I have to stroll and stroll and stroll to find it. The old website version had page numbers where I could find a specific work. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, etc. It makes it so much easier. I wish this option were added to the current design.

  9. WRONG IMAGE OF VELZQUEZ "THE FABLE OF ARACHNE"

The picture of Velazquez painting The Fable of Arachne, or The Spinners (1656) is the mirror image of the original. Should be possible to fix the problem?

  10. Random artwork in my main page

I use to have, well, I still have it, WikiArt as my main page, in this way everytime that I run my browser I had a new random artwork in my screen. Now after the change it is not possible... what a pity... :(

I liked to have classical art, every day a new one...

Can you put this option again? Thank you so much, anyway you all created a great web!!! :)

  14. Bierstadt's "Bombardment of Fort Sumter" is no longer considered a Bierstadt, but a work by the Confederate painter, John Ross Key.

You mistakenly attribute "The Bombardment of Fort Sumter" to Albert Bierstadt. The painting was done by John Ross Key. See The Magazine Antiques, February 1986, pp,416-422. It is now in the Greenville County Museum, Greenville, SC as by Key.

  18. Correct Name of Bartolome Esteban Murillo Painting "Children With Shell"

"Children With Shell" is actually "The Holy Children with a Shell." It depicts Jesus and John as children.

  20. Fix the search button.

It is loading only the first page.

Let's use the word SUMMER, for example.

Search finds 551 paintings, but only loads the first page. When you click on the load more button nothing happen.

If not in search, as in, for instance, a genre, or just one artist, the LOAD MORE button does work.
