  2. Your "view all sizes" is not working. If you choose a size it just takes you back to the same page.

  5. "Vaga copyright"

    What is this? An artist's entire collection is subject to copyright law if the artist hasn't been dead for 70 years? Is this true??? It doesn't seem to make sense that one 150 year old painting is fair use but another is not because of the date when the artist died! Can we have some clarification on this?

  6. Ability to report if same painting has been added multiple times

    I've seen that some paintings have been added multiple times, but I haven't noticed that there is a way to report this. In my opinion, this feature would be useful, and make artists' pages look better.

  7. Ability to 'star' or 'favourite' artists.

    I'd like to be able to keep track of my favourite artists I find while browsing (not just artworks.) I think it'd be convenient for each artists' page to contain a toggle star image button to favourite them. Then, under the account navigation (containing My Albums) have a 'Favourite Artist' section that leads to a gallery of the head-shots of all your favourite artists.

  8. People posting their own artwork?!

    As I was browsing contemporary artworks, I noticed something. I don't exactly know the image posting process but it seems that some people are posting their own artworks. You can see them especially in the 21st century category. These people are mostly undistinguished, amateur artists(?) and their artworks are either naive or genre painting. I am heavily disturbed by seeing them in the database. If it's the moderators that posting these images then I'm very very disappointed. There should be only distinguished artists in the database!

  10. Add artists to favourite

    We can favourite paintings, why not the artists as well? This function shouldn't be too hard to include. It will be so much easier for the users to quickly find their favourite artists and all their works without 1. looking for their work 2. add this work to favourite 3. go to account and find this work 4. click on the artists. I'll be truly grateful if you add this simple feature. thank you1

  11. to do some basic research before assigning some categories: "Degenerate art" seriously?

    I would suggest you to do some basic research before assigning those categories: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degenerate_art.
    This is nothing like a painting school, but just a moral categorization invented by Nazis.

    So seeing all those great artists (https://www.wikiart.org/en/artists-by-painting-school/degenerate-art) still under this umbrella word in 21st century is just shocking to say the least...

    Mark Rothko was born in Latvia, Daugavpils. City was then called Dvinsk. His details are wrong. He is not in the list of Latvian artists. There is Rothko museum in Daugavpils now. Please add him to the list under Latvian artists, not Belarus.

    Today I wanted to search for a painting I have seen before on this site and, surprise surprise, all I could see was triggering content to which I was stubbornly redirected seemingly due to the fact that I have to live in Russia.   18. Alfred Sisley and Camille Pissarro

    The Bridge at Moret, 1888 is by Alfred Sisley not Camille Pissarro. His signature is in the lower left corner and it goes with the many other paintings he did of the Bridge after he moved to Moret-sur-Loing. :)
