Missing Ruth Asawa
Ruth Asawa should be added immediately. Serious oversight of a tremendous artist -- one that was even recognized by the USPS in a stamp....

remember where you were in a long list of (300+) artworks, or give customization to how many artworks per page shown
every time you go back to a page of long artworks (1000+), you have to click the expand button every 60 artworks to get to the bottom and find the one you need. It is especially irritating when you have to click in on an artwork to see the details, only to come back and see all your scrolling process gone to waste.

Mark Rothko
Mark Rothko was born in Latvia, Daugavpils. City was then called Dvinsk. His details are wrong. He is not in the list of Latvian artists. There is Rothko museum in Daugavpils now. Please add him to the list under Latvian artists, not Belarus.

Add Woodland School of Art (Indian or Indigenous Group of Seven) to Art Movements
This movement is now sometimes called Indigenous Group of Seven. This was an important art movement in Canadian art history as it marks the beginning of the indigenous art renaissance in Canada and featured important painters like Alex Janvier and Daphne Odjig.

Add category under nationalities for Indigenous artists
Add 'Indigenous North American' category so viewers can pull all those Native, First Nations, Inuit and Métis artist together in one search. It would be great to be able to see and compare works over the years of artists like Kent Monkman and Norval Morrisseau.

Yue Minjun
Yue Minjun is an incredible Chinese painter. He is a notable artist, so I am surprised he is not already on this website. He does a very specific stylized series of self-portraits, which I think would add well to your existing Chinese art section.

There Are Many Paintings Missing+Copyright issues
I see that a lot of paintings are missing, and that would be a huge flaw for an 'Art' Wiki!
I understand that it's not easy to include all paintings to the database.
So I suggest there be a corner where people can upload an image along with its provenance, etc.
That way I think WikiArt can reduce time used in enlarging its database, get more participation and feedback as well.
For example, for painter Rosa Bonheur,
I see that <Le Labourage (1844)> is missing. In that situation I would like to upload my file and some information so that…

To add a comprehensive list of FEMALE ARTISTS per period or per century.
There were/are so many very talented and in their days accomplished female artists, who were either overshadowed by their husbands or simply 'forgotten'.
Let's put this right and make Art History shine a light on Art Herstory (50%!).5 votes -

Would it be okay if you all weren't retarded?
How many chromosomes do you have to have to structure the site like this? Kill yourself now.

Allow us to view all images available in query
When we press Artworks by genre, and then order the genres by count, we can see the number of images for each genre. For example, as of right now there are 22212 images for the "landscape" genre. However, when you press "landscape" it shows you can only see 3600 images total. Same thing for the "portrait" genre - you can only see a max of 3600 images out of the 25208 images available. I assume this is the case for all other links as well, not just in genre but also in the other query types as well (like in…

Our primary goal is to make world’s art accessible to anyone and anywhere.
I suggest you look at your primary goal and actually try and achieve it. Apparently I can't view Matisse in my country, England, why?
