  1. agree or approve the artist Muntadher Saleh

    The artist Muntadher Saleh has amazing artworks and should be notable in wiki art and I really do not find him in the search of the app on mobile phone or at the category of his nation and I think the reason is he is not agreed yet so I make this vote to agree his artworks and his place and everyone who knows his artwork should vote too because we need to appreciate Artists while they are Alive thank you.

    There is a lot of Muntadher Saleh Artworks in Arabic language and this is wrong you should translate them to English to be the primary language not any other language

  6. GoogleMap Location

    I would love to see the current location (museum, gallery, etc) of the original painting on a GoogleMap. It would also be really cool to see where the painting was actually created by the artist.

  7. Please remove unlimited scrolling

    Hello. I like the new design but I think unlimited scrolling is a bad choice for this site. It was very easy to find the painting I'm looking for when there were pages but it's very difficult with the new unlimited scrolling. For example; I want to see mid to late works of Dürer. I go to the artist's page and list artworks by date. When there were pages, I could quickly skip to 6th or 7th page to find later works but now, I have to scroll and scroll and scroll each time I want to find later works…

  8. Change WikiArt back the way it was.

    The way you have changed it makes it horrible to go thru the artwork because everything is all over the page. Before it was perfectly easy to look thru the artwork. Change it back!!!

  9. Put the artwork dimensions dimensions & medium(s) used

    It's important for people and students searching for examples of artwork to know and list the medium(s) used and the original dimensions. These two features plus the artist, date, and title are the basic informative essentials that accompany a piece.

  10. Browse by museum or collection

    Fantastic site. How about adding the ability to browse by museum? Great for when you remember where you saw a painting but can't remember the artist's name. Thanks for listening.

  11. Censorship

    As an artist, art student, and art educator I am whole-heartedly against censorship in art. The parents of my students, however, are not. I love love love to use this website as a tool in my classroom, unfortunately it is now blocked in my school system because of nudes. I know it's asking a lot of tagging and programming. but this website is such a great academic resource and it breaks my heart that all of my students are losing it without an option to sensor nudity or violence.

  13. Extending "Account" Features

    It would make the website more dynamic if it had features akin to last.fm, whereby users can (a) love paintings (b) favourite artist, allowing for easy return to liked content. This information could be shared with others, along with (c) recently viewed paintings.

  15. Add a zoom fuction

    The most obvious thing missing int he current version is a zoom function. Ideally, for research, the images would be of super high quality allowing us to see at a higher resolution than the eye

  16. Stop reproduction companies from changing the Zoom button to a link

    I have been using WikiArt for years. When I look at paintings, I like to click on the Zoom + button to look at them more closely. Now I see there is a company called 1st-art-gallery.com which has somehow deliberately changed the + button to a direct link to its website. This is BS! I want the Zoom function, not their website!! Are they allowed to do this, or have they somehow managed to do this on their own?

  18. Mobile device app/website favourites synchronization

    I like your app, so that I use it regularly in trains, etc...

    In fact, I like it so much that I sometimes use it at home. But, sure, when you have a computer at home, you may want to view the art pieces on its bigger screen, and there is the website. On the other hand, you lose the ability to add art to your app favourites list by doing so. This is why I think that an phone-app-to-website-account synchronization would be great !
